Student Advocacy Center (Ypsilanti)
The Student Advocacy Center of Michigan works collaboratively with underserved students, and their families, to stay in school, realize their rights to a quality public education, grow and experience success. Student Advocacy Center was born in 1975, when a small group of community members, concerned about the excessive use of school suspensions and expulsions and the disparate impact on poor children and children of color, came together to assure that the voices of our most vulnerable children and their parents were heard.

Pinckney Community Library
The Pinckney Community Public Library has a truly rich history. Established in 1953, it started with a box full of donated books from its first librarian, Ms. Florence Preuss. The library serves the community with book lending, DVD/video lending, photocopies/laser printing, public use computers, special events, and more.
